New Village Hall Patio

The new village hall patio is finished!

The old worn out wooden decking at the rear of the hall has been removed and replaced by high-quality stone slabs.

The patio area also has new gates and fencing.

The builders have done a fabulous job, as you can see from the photographs!

Pound the Bounds

Pound The Bounds Walk4Life 2021

Sunday 22 August 2021

We are hoping to run Pound the Bounds later on this year but on a much smaller scale with just the Treasure Hunt of around three miles for parents and children, and a six-mile way-marked route.

Once again it will be in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance (MAAC) who, like all charities, have had a tough time during the pandemic, having had to cancel all of their large-scale events.

We felt it was important to keep this event going which over the years has raised considerable funds for MAAC and hope that next year we can get back to normal and provide the full range of routes.

As has been the case  in the past the venue and start will be Rock Village Hall, and you will be able to register on the day or by visiting  midlandairambulance.com/walk21 to register in advance. There is plenty of parking and Rock WI will be providing their usual excellent selection of refreshments. So note the day and we hope to see you there!
